Jacob Wolf

Jacob’s journey into the world of design and innovation is rooted in a childhood filled with creativity and exploration. Growing up in New York City, Jacob's summers were spent in New Mexico, where he developed a fascination for art and craftsmanship. He watched mesmerized as glassblowers shaped molten glass into intricate forms, sparking his passion for the art form at a young age.

After graduating from Pratt Institute with a degree in industrial design, Jacob's diverse background and multifaceted skill set positioned him as a valuable contributor in the field. His tenure at Mount Sinai Hospital's Sinai BioDesign division allowed him to merge his passions for design, innovation, and biotechnology, where he played a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge medical devices and intellectual property.

Today, Jacob Booth Wolf continues to push the boundaries of design innovation, drawing inspiration from his eclectic background and unwavering curiosity. Whether he's shaping molten glass into works of art, capturing moments through his lens, or designing the technologies of tomorrow, Jacob remains dedicated to creating meaningful experiences that resonate with people on a profound level.


Joseph Borello

Joe received his bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from Macaulay Honors College at The City College of New York, where he remains active in the Zahn Innovation Center, an on-campus tech startup incubator.

He’s currently a biomedical engineer and PhD Candidate at Mount Sinai, working in the labs of Drs. Kevin Costa and Junqian Xu, in addition to leading product design and engineering within the Sinai BioDesign innovation team. Joe has peviously worked at 3D Systems on technical development in the consumer marketing department and as a liaison with engineering project management teams, in addition to an earlier stint at experiential marketing firm Affinitive.

Joe has also been involved in several startup ventures in the hardware and biotech spaces. Several years ago, he took his startup Proto-Sauce, through NYCEDC’s Futureworks Incubator, with the goal of developing new materials for resin-based 3D printing. More recently, he’s had the privilege to serve as the CTO of BioSapien, using advanced manufacturing to create new devices for the treatment of cancer. Beyond his direct startup work, Joe has also continued to participate in Futureworks as a mentor, as well as others within the New York City startup community.
